Relief Casting Progress
Hi all.
I chose to explore the possibilities within my ice cream swirl sketch and create an organic, elevated composition out of foam core board and oil clay. I will be creating my plaster mold tomorrow – I just hope it is dry enough to be casted into this weekend.
I am really looking forward to casting this composition in materials such as chocolate and hard candy.

Oh this looks awesome! From the pictures it looks like you've been attentive to drafting your elevations- let me know how the pattern releases from the mold. That should give you a good indication of how easily the castings will pull as well.
